Since 1978, Rob Elbon has spent his entire life serving the people of Randolph County. As a Firefighter, he served with the Tygart Valley Fire Company and Elkins Fire Department, where he worked to save lives and property. He then held numerous law enforcement positions to promote and uphold public safety, including serving as a Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Federal Court Security Officer with the U.S. Marshal Service, Intermittent Deputy U.S. Marshal, Magistrate for Randolph County, and most recently, as Sherriff of Randolph County. Promoting Safety in Our Communities
Living life to the fullest mandates that we feel safe and secure in our homes and communities. Rob is passionately focused on improving life throughout Randolph County. He and wife, Katina, have independently partnered with ReMix Education and community members to bring a positive message of awareness respecting healthy alternatives to youth, including anti-drug and anti-bullying advocacy. Rob has also been actively involved as a youth football and T-Ball coach and member of the Domestic Violence Task Force. RANDOLF COUNTY SHERIFF

“I believe in Randolph County. I want my children and grandson to have the same opportunities I had when I was a child growing up in Randolph County. I want all of the children to be able to grow up safe – to be able to play football in the neighbor's yard and not fall on a needle, for example. I want them to be able to play outside without being approached by somebody who may pose a danger to them as a result of being under the influence of a powerful mind-altering substance. This is extremely important to me. Therefore, I am rerunning for the position of Sheriff of Randolph County. As Magistrate, I spent years on the defensive and only able to help people after they've “hit rock bottom,” in many cases. As Sheriff, I have been able to be on the offense. I want to continue to bring service to Randolph County. I will be on active patrol working to keep your neighborhood and community safe. I want to Keep Randolph County Strong – and I'm asking for your help. I'm asking for your vote on November 5th.”
